U.S. TARIFFS UPDATE—WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Continued changes to tariffs on imported products have directly impacted the Polyhose products imported from our group factories in India and Europe. As valued customers, we want to keep you informed about how these dynamic changes will impact our business.
WHAT’S CHANGING
The last several months have seen a flurry of actions from the U.S. and other governments implementing, expanding, and/or escalating tariffs.
A tariff on carbon steel and aluminum, in effect since March 9, 2025
A tariff on all non-steel and non-aluminum components from India, effective April 9, 2025
Polyhose is evaluating every available avenue to minimize the impact of these tariffs. These measures include a continued focus on improving manufacturing and process efficiencies, supplier negotiations, cost-down measures, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
